Year five scholarships results 2010 were out today by the Examinations department. The Commissioner General of Examinations Department said that the result were posted today and it could be browsed on the web from tomorrow after noon. “The results will be uploaded into http://www.doenets.lk tomorrow noon” said the Commissioner General.
Grade V Exam Results 2010 topper Sanuja Kalhan Edirisinghe of Pannipitiya Darmapala Vidyala has topped the exam with 196 marks. The cut off marks for Colombo and Gampaha districts are 148 for Sinhala medium while the Tamil medium Cut off marks for the same district is 145

About GCE -A level exam
The British Council conduct the Advanced level exam twice in a year combine with the department of education by the srilanka government.The advanced level exam students must have to finish the ordinary level exam. This GCE -A level exam contains four streams

1. Physical Science stream contain combined mathematics,physics,chemistry
2. Biological stream(biology-botony+zoology,physics,chemistry)
3. Commerce and accounting stream
4. Arts and science
