As per sources CBI on Tuesday filed a case against Organising Committee Secretary General Lalit Bhanot and Director General V K Verma. CWG Scam(Common Wealth Games 2010 scam)-CBI Files Case Against Lalit Bhanot+V K Verma. Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) lodged an FIR against them in connection with alleged irregularities in a contract for the CWG result update system. CBI has conducted searches at 11 places including their residences. The searches were carried out in Gurgaon, Noida and the national capital. According to official sources, the searches started early on Tuesday morning with regard to a Rs 107 crore deal struck with a firm for results update system for the Commonwealth Games.
